Features
Inline sortation - CaseFetch pods are continuously
sorted as they move, allowing greater control of presentation
sequence. For example, workers building a mixed pallet can
be presented cases in any sequence required, such as heavy
cases on the bottom and light cases on the top
Real-time Replenishment – Because
any operator can access any reserve product at any time, replenishment
happens in real time, eliminating stockouts in forward picking.
Direct integration with split-case picking and shipping
– A completed mixed pallet can be moved directly
to the shipping dock and combined with split case orders for
timely truck loading.
Variable storage density – Kiva CaseFetch
can store different pallets in different density zones, allowing
you to store slow-moving product two or three pallets deep
and keeping fast-moving product single-deep. When a deep-storage
pod is required, multiple drive units work together to bring
it out.
Multi-level storage – CaseFetch integrated
with standard vertical lifts to work across multiple levels
of mezzanine
